CFP – Confederation Centre of the Arts Young Company 2019
Confederation Centre of the Arts and The Charlottetown Festival invites young people from across the country, between the ages of 18 – 30, to apply to be a part of this incredible group of young storytellers. Whether your stories come from spoken word, through song or dance, are traditional or modern – we want YOU to join us for a fantastic summer experience on the traditional, unceded territory of the PEI Mi’kmaq to share your voice and experiences as a young person in today’s Canada.
What is the programme all about?
The TD Confederation Centre of the Arts Young Company is a summer training programme, coinciding with The Charlottetown Festival. We invite young people from diverse backgrounds to spend the summer on beautiful Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island). The Young Company receives training that covers all aspects of life in performance and community leadership. “YoCo”, as it is affectionately known, also performs a musical production, 6 days a week, at the Confederation Centre, as well as participating in various workshops and events.
All applicants must be between the ages of 18 & 30, and eligible to work in Canada. Additional requirements may apply.
