On March 20, you’ll be able to catch The Remotions (formerly the multiPLAY collective) in a free live performance. Featuring IICSI researchers Rebecca Caines (sound art), Helen Pridmore (vocals), and Stacey Bliss (gongs), as well as John Campbell (360 video/audio mixing/tech infrastructure), WL Altman (electronic music performance), Gao Yujie (live visuals), and Norman Adams (cello), this performance will unite the performers from their separate homes through “an innovative 360-degree system.” If you’re curious about this performance method, there’ll be a Q & A session after the performance.
