The next session of Thinking Spaces: The Improvisation Reading Group and Speaker Series will be held this Friday, November 20th. Please join us for a screening and discussion of the 2009 documentary Amplified Gesture. Directed by Phil Hopkins, this film illuminates the journeys and philosophies of an international group of improvisers and experimental musicians such as Evan Parker, Otomo Yoshihide, Keith Rowe, Eddie Prévost, Toshimaru Nakamura, and Christian Fennesz who collaborated with David Sylvian for his 2009 Manofon recording.
