March 6, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Public engagement. Solidarity among strangers. Participatory media.
These three researchers explore the improvisational imperatives that occur in public spaces through multiple modalities. Troy Hourie is a scenographer and installation artist. Mervyn Horgan is an urbanist and cultural sociologist, and Kim McLeod is a devisor/performer who often involves digital extensions in her work. Join us for this interdisciplinary conversation moderated by artist and Philosophy PhD candidate Jeannette Hicks.
(2nd Fl. Heritage Rm, 10C, 42 Carden Street, Guelph) Co-sponsored by the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute.
