Karen Ng in Europe

Toronto alto saxophonist Karen Ng is in Europe performing with both old and new collaborators. April 16 she is at Miss Hecker in Berlin with Ken Aldcroft, Scott Thomson and Klaus Kürvers; April 17 at B-flat with a German edition of Aldcroft’s Convergence Ensemble, with Thomson, Peter Van Huffel (saxophone), Meinrad Kneer (bass) and Rudi Fischerlehner (drums). Then Ng is off to Amsterdam for the Oorsprongs series at Plantagedok April 25, and Zaal 100 May 10. Meanwhile Aldcroft and Thomson continue, playing in different configurations, to Berlin’s Café Tasso April 19, Kalmar, Sweden April 21, Braunschweig, Germany April 25, Rotterdam April 27, and Zurich April 29 & 30.
