Robin Servant In Concert

On Wednesday, July 27 (8pm ET), the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation (IICSI) is proud to present a performance by Bic-based accordion and electronics musician Robin Servant at the Musée Culturel de Coin-du-Banc / Corner of the Beach Cultural Museum, 294 Rte 132 est Coin-du-Banc (Percé). Admission to this special performance is $10 (with tickets available at the door), and all are welcome to attend.

Robin Servant is a musician with a passion for traditional musics, improvisation, and composition. He has worked in many traditional ensembles (Trio Salicorne, Tord-Vis, la Baratte à Beurre, la Marée montante) and also in improvised music groups (GGRIL, Dionée, Haley-Servant duo, Escarbilles). He tries to make connections between popular traditions and contemporary musics. His work is organized around 2 axes: sharing the experience and experiencing the moment. With his album Du souffle et de l’espace, he explores the acoustics of the places he visits by making them vibrate with his accordion and electronics.
