The Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI) fosters collaborative and mutually beneficial community-university partnerships.

Collaboration between engaged researchers and citizens is key to achieving positive social change. At the Institute, we build mechanisms for universities and communities to work together in innovative and strategic ways. We partner with community, students, faculty and intermediaries through research, training and brokering to strengthen capacity to conduct engaged scholarship and mobilize knowledge.
