Jake Faraday

Jake Faraday is an experienced electronics improviser. He is active as a member of Noice and has recorded with Jing Xia. Jake’s doctoral research concerns the affective labour of sound technicians in Cirque du Soleil and the political economy of sound in this international arts corporation. Jake gave papers at the Canadian Society for Traditional Music (Toronto 2017) and the Newfound Music Festival XV Symposium. In 2018 he has been awarded a SSHRC CGS Fellowship.
