McGill University is one of the six site partners for IICSI. Under the leadership of Site Coordinator Eric Lewis, McGill is home to active research projects, frequent reading group and conference events, and several rich community partnered initiatives. Partners housed at McGill include:

• Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT)
• Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies (IGSF)
• Institute for the Public Life of Arts and Ideas (IPLAI)
