Creative Music Symposium – University of Guelph

14th Creative Music Symposium
Monday March 9th – Friday March 13th
Presented by UofG’s Music Students’ Association, this year’s symposium features the keynote: Wellness for Musicians in Six Songs by Dr. Marta McCarthy, presentations by the IICSI grad cohort, a music therapy workshop with Mary Parkinson, a wellness drumming workshop, Thinking Spaces Jazz Libre: The Musical-Political Praxis of the Quebec Left with Eric Fillion, a Music Vocational Fair, seminars, and a music students concert followed by an open jam session happening Silence.
The symposium week ends with the infamous Music Trivia Night at the Brass Taps on Friday the 13th!
