Community Visioning and Instrument Building Workshops
February 12 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until April 2, 2022
Winter can be rough, but playing outside with others is worth the challenge! Presenting a new outdoor workshop series: Community Visioning and Instrument Building, co-developed by UofG student annais, the Two Rivers Neighbourhood Group, the Musagetes Foundation, and the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation.
This two-part workshop series aims to connect community members in and near the Ward to collaboratively imagine, design and build instruments, hosted at the Huron Community Garden. No musical, artistic, or building experience is necessary. This series runs every Saturday, 1pm–2pm between February 12th and March 26th. A commitment to attend as many as possible is encouraged in order to strengthen our community bonds and build together.
These workshops have been developed as a way to play and improvise with each other and our circumstances, and to enjoy our time together outdoors! Learn more and register today at www.annais.space and follow @artsworkshopguelph!
