Thinking Spaces: The Improvisation Reading Group and Speaker Series Presents Georgia Simms, Guelph ON
January 29, 2016 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Dear all,
I’d like to invite you to our next Thinking Spaces: The Improvisation Reading Group and Speaker Series session. Please join us for a workshop with modern dancer, choreographer, and educator Georgia Simms at Silence (46 Essex St.) on January 29 between 2:30 and 4:30 pm. This workshop will frame movement improvisation as a practice that includes a set of skills and structures that can be used to guide physical exploration and give supportive shape to curiosity. Unleash possibilities and enjoy dancing discoveries that come from conscious interaction, intentional communication and spontaneous composition. We will move, laugh, reflect and learn together.
The event is free and open to the public.
I hope to see you at Silence.
Thank you and all my best,
Harald
