IF 2025

IF—our free annual Improvisation Festival—returns to ImprovLab on November 28th and 29th! IICSI Director Dr. Eric Fillion has curated a fantastic bill of artists, including legendary Quebec counter-culture figure and ESP-Disk recording artist Erica Pomerance (backed by local improvisers Joe Sorbara, Germaine Liu, and Dan Loughrin), Nicole Rampersaud and Joel Leblanc, Roger Tellier-Craig (formerly of Godspeed You! Black Emperor) and Karl Lemieux (GY!BE’s current projectionist), Sarah Pagé, and many more! This is a thrilling program composed of artists from across Canada. The lineup also has strong local representation programmed in collaboration with the Wet Sounds, Audiopollination, and coexisDance series!

In addition to the live performances, IF will also be streaming hours of archived improvised performance footage.
