Musical Improvisation at Land’s End 2017
Presented by the IICSI, MILE camp seeks to develop innovative strategies to put aspiring young musicians in direct and meaningful contact with professional improvisers, engaging musicians and non-musicians alike in hands-on workshops led by world-class improvising artists.
Summer 2016 saw the inaugural session of IICSI’s bilingual improvised music camp, Musical Improvisation at Land’s End / Coin-du-Banc en Folie in Coin-du-Banc with improvising musicians Jesse Stewart, François Houle, and Kathy Kennedy, with support from the Musagetes Foundation and the Chawkers Foundation.
