The Polish Journal of Aesthetics invites submissions for the volume ‘Improvisation in contemporary art’ devoted to the contemporary approach to improvisation.

They invite submissions from theoreticians in all areas of art, and researchers studying models of activity, as well as from practitioners – artists who are actively involved in improvisation within the framework of their activities.

This is a call for AUMI users of all abilities and occupations to submit proposals with a title, brief bio of author/co-authors, and 500-word description of what you would like to write for Improvising Across Abilities.

Applications are invited for an early career Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to undertake up to 2 years dedicated research in the VOICE Lab, University of Regina Canada situated in the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance.

The University of Regina Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance, in collaboration with the Archer Library, is seeking an artist to fill a five month residency, commencing in January 2018, to explore the integration of writing within art practice (and vice versa). This residency was established in memory of Michele Sereda, who died in a highway crash 2015.
