The International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation provides distinctive opportunities for undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows to participate in our collaborative and stimulating interdisciplinary environment. We encourage participation in the development of innovative and sophisticated approaches to gathering, analyzing, and disseminating knowledge by actively involving students in every phase of project planning and implementation.

Students from a wide range of disciplines (and from different institutions) will be provided with opportunities to interact with one another at regular colloquia, meetings, via our research website, and at summer institutes.

Video Editor: This position will assist with editing recorded video footage into finished product for the IICSI website. Technical expertise with video editing software required (experience with Final Cut Pro preferred). Students may also have the opportunity to document IICSI-related events and to develop new video content.

Website Content Development & Maintenance: This position will assist with the development of written content for the IICSI website, managing content updates and edits. Required skills: attention to detail, copyediting, ability to use website content management systems (WordPress), and ability to respond promptly for quick turnaround times.
