Mia Perry

Dr. Mia Perry works in the intersections of performance, philosophy, and pedagogy. From a background that ranges from community theatre in rural Ireland, to training and scholarship in Dublin, Moscow, London, and Vancouver, and theatre practice, teaching, and research in varied contexts in Ireland and Canada, Mia has recently relocated to Scotland. Previous to her current endeavours, Mia was an Assistant Professor in applied theatre and arts education at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. She has published widely in academic and trade journals, scholarly books, and community resources. Mia’s current interests concern ontologies and practices of new media and mixed realities in applied theatre and community education.
