Rebecca Caines in Northern Ireland
IICSI researcher Rebecca Caines is taking a sabbatical from her role as Associate Professor in Creative Technologies and Director of the Regina Improvisation Studies Centre at the University of Regina. Starting this month, through August 2018, Dr. Caines is a visiting research fellow at the Sonic Arts Research Centre (SARC) in the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queens University, Belfast. Her research trips will include visiting current SARC research projects, classes, and labs, and partnering with Dr. Paul Stapleton and graduate students as part of a new SSHRC Connections project investigating improvisation, creative technologies, and social isolation (with IICSI researcher Dr. Michelle Stewart).
