Christian Riegel

Campion College, University of Regina

Christian Riegel is Professor of Health and Medical Humanities & English at Campion College at the University of Regina. His creative work has appeared in numerous literary magazines, including Grain, Flood Quarterly, Gaspereau ReviewNew Delta Review and Body, Space & Technology. He is co-director of the Interactive Media, Poetics, Aesthetics, Cognition, and Technology (IMPACT) Lab located on the University of Regina campus. The lab’s focus is on collaborative interdisciplinary research relating to eye tracking technology and digital tools, with a particular emphasis on disability, ableism and technology and visual art and music creation. He has received funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), a UK-based organization dedicated to social progress and development. A recent publication is Health Humanities in Application, co-edited with Katherine M. Robinson.
