University of Guelph

I obtained my PhD in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Prior to joining the University of Guelph, I taught at York University, Toronto, Canada.

Current areas of research include: Young people’s pathways into farming in Canada, China, India and Indonesia; and relative contributions of daughters and sons to their elderly parents’ well-being. Another emerging area of research is related to engaging men in preventing sexual violence in particular on university campuses.
